AFFORDABLE CRIMINAL DEFENSE
Atlanta Criminal Defense Team’s Fees Overview
Atlanta Criminal Defense Team understands that every client, who needs a criminal defense attorney, is already dealing with a very urgent and stressful situation. We recognize that affording an experienced criminal defense lawyer is yet another burden for our clients. We are mindful of the fact that each case is unique and every client has the right to know how much their criminal defense representation will cost. Atlanta Criminal Defense Team believes that everyone is entitled to aggressive, client-centered representation, which is why we offer fee structures that best fit the needs of our clients.
Atlanta Criminal Defense Team’s Flat Fees
A flat fee is a one-time fee, which is paid in full upon hiring Atlanta Criminal Defense Team and covers all aspects of our representation, except jury trial, including: communications with the client; case investigation; discovery review; drafting and filing motions; court appearances; communications with the prosecutor and the court; and negotiations of the best possible resolution for the client.
Atlanta Criminal Defense Team will never surprise a client with hidden fees for flat fee cases. Our clients can rest assured that the one-time fee quoted during our free phone consultation will be the total cost of our representation.
PLEASE NOTE: A jury trial is the only aspect of our criminal defense representation not included in the flat fee. The right to have a jury trial belongs to the client and a client is the only person, who can decide if their case will proceed to a jury trial. Atlanta Criminal Defense Team has been exceedingly successful at favorably resolving (with a dismissal or a reduction of the charges) nearly all of our flat fee cases long before they get to the trial stage and we will always respect our client’s decision regarding jury trial. Payment of a jury trial fee will be required only if a client decides to proceed to a jury trial.

Atlanta Criminal Defense Team’s Retainer Fees
A retainer fee is a deposit, which is paid upon hiring Atlanta Criminal Defense Team and is held in our trust account throughout the duration of our representation. We bill for our legal services on an hourly basis. At the end of every month, during which we worked on the client’s case, we will charge all costs, expenses, and fees for legal services against the client’s retainer fee deposit. The client must replenish all such charges within 15 days of receiving their invoice. Our clients are only charged for legal services performed, so they may not receive an invoice every month.
The client agrees to pay Atlanta Criminal Defense Team in advance for all the work to be performed by maintaining a retainer fee deposit, of the agreed-upon amount, during the course of our representation. Atlanta Criminal Defense Team’s retainer fee deposit is refundable and any money not used for costs, expenses, and legal fees will be refunded to the client at the conclusion of our representation.
Atlanta Criminal Defense Team utilizes retainer fees for serious criminal cases, which are typically unique and complex, take longer to resolve, and require the expertise of our top-rated criminal defense attorneys. Instead of paying an enormous, up-front flat fee, our clients pay only for legal services they receive. Atlanta Criminal Defense Team’s retainer fee affords more people access to the best, most aggressive, and experienced criminal defense lawyers in Atlanta and its surrounding areas.
